On 1 Gig package but only get 70 mbps download speed.

Oh, I was looking at the "Processes" tab, viewing the "Performance" tab it looks worse, close to 100% usage. 😞

Can anyone please suggest what kind of upgrade I would need for my PC, HDD or CPU and any recommended models/brands.

70mb download speed is pretty good, you won't see much improvement, best you could get would be a SATA SSD drive, and do a fresh install of windows on it etc.

Any 2.5" SSD should be a massive improvement in load times etc from the old mech drive.
