Ive been with VM for about 4-5 years and have never had an issue. Since yesterday my work laptop, on which I have to use a VPN to access the hospital systems is losing connection every few minutes, making working from home almost impossible.
I have a hub 3, all other devices are working normally. My work IT help desk say there is nothing wrong with the laptop or at the hospital end but think it may be something to do with Virgin?
Any help very much appreciated

Hi Elbee,
I'm implementing AOVPN at a Trust in Birmingham and we have the same issue with VM users. Can you send any information on how you resolved this for users?

Its not that hard to fix this just people like there router mode too much, VM don't care in fact they do this intentionally so you get their Business package if you don't like this use hub in modem mode or leave

we have a bout 300 VM users, so switching them to modem mode is not an option

Hi Lois,
Please could you share the details of who from Bristol or Bath NHS trust managed to help you? My wife works for NBT and is experiencing the same problems as you but local IT have just said “buy a new router” which doesn’t sound like the fix that worked for you. Any help gratefully received. Thanks, Matt

Hi,
I spoke to user Cidersam on here who works in Bath. I’m also NBT. Ask her to call ext. 42671 I’ll see if I can help.
