Latency Spikes and Hub loses connection.

So the last few days I've started to get warnings of high latency followed by complete loss of connection.

A reboot of the modem brings it back for approximately 12 to 24 hours where the situation repeats itself.

BQM shows the same as the local diagnostics

Anyone got any ideas please?

if in modem mode with a router don't reboot the hub see if unplug the Ethernet for 10 seconds and back in fix it

Yes Modem Mode.

Out of interest why would unplugging the patch cable fix it? You thinking it's spanning tree related or some form of port sensing?

Did it fix it?

I know my BQM went wrong when downloading over night

you should disable spanning tree if your ACL with a switch with the hub to before your router

I had already rebooted it before you replied. I'll try your solution when it does it again.

Hey Minichris23, thank you for reaching out and I am sorry to hear you are having some spikes and connection issues.

Did the advice help in the end or are you still having these issues?

New around here?

Hi Matt,

I've had a small amount of packet loss but nothing that's caused the SH to become unresponsive again.

I'll keep an eye on it over Xmas.

Started again just now, not at home to reset it at the moment.
