Hey, I have 1 g internet with Virgin.
The internet is perfect but like clockwork it drops in the morning when I’m on calls on my laptop. I’m situated upstairs and the router is downstairs behind the tv.
The internet is literally perfect for 90% of my wfh day but it’s just in the morning it does this. I’ve updated my laptop, deleted cache and restarted the laptop but still it continues.
I tested my internet and it’s very fast. Can anyone advise please?

Sorry to hear you're having issues with your broadband in the mornings.
I've not been able locate you on the systems at our side to check your service. You mention that this only happens on your call in the mornings. Is this on like a zoom call or teams call software?
Do you get any issues when making these types of calls on other devices or at other times of the day at all?
Would be good to be able to check what is showing on your upstream data on the hub. Are you please able to post your hub log here and we can see your hubs specs and if there is anything flagging for your upstream performance.
To get to your hub log follow the below steps.
Open a web browser and go to 192.168.0.1 router mode or 192.168.100.1 modem mode
