Upp were company cabling my town, they were doing XGSPON and then they got bought by virgin media/nexfibre. All went quiet but today I got an email saying VM Internet is available.
I go to the website to check and I can get Internet, gig1. Weird, I was expecting upto gig2 and symmetric Internet. When I type my postcode it says upto gig2, so I check other houses on my road. Lots of them can get gig2, there's like 5 houses that are stuck on gig1. Like I said this is a brand new installation as part of the nexfibre integration, it should all be XGSPON or (XGSPIA) as listed on better Internet dashboard, but only shows as XGS for my house and a few others. Is this some cruel joke or input into the system incorrectly?
