Not receiving some emails
I have an old ntlworld email address that is now hosted by Virgin. For some reason some of my emails are not coming through. I am receiving most of them but some of my contacts are finding that their messages to me are bouncing back with a message saying "Address not found. Your message wasn't delivered because the address couldn't me found or is unable to receive email."
The email address has been triple checked and is definitely correct. The person sending the messages is in my contacts. There is nothing in my spam. Any ideas what the problem could be?

One thing I would try would be to send a test email from your Ntlworld account to the affected contacts asking them to use the "reply" function in their email account to respond and confirm that they have received your email.
If they use the "reply" function, their return emails will use your correct email address taken from the email you sent to them and not the email address that is saved their contacts list. If you receive their confirmation replies that strongly suggests that in their previous emails they have been using an incorrect address for you.
I know that the address has been tripled checked but it's surprising how easy it is to miss typos, using a "o" instead of an "0" for instance.
Just one other important point. I see that you say "I have an old ntlworld email address that is now hosted by Virgin" which makes me wonder whether you still have a VM broadband account.
You need to be aware that if your Ntlworld email account is not linked to a live VM broadband account it is at grave risk of being deleted by VM.
VM are now actively working through and deleting these, so called, orphaned VM email accounts . That applies to all VM domains, so, Blueyonder.co.uk, Virgin.net and Virginmedia.com as well as Ntlworld.com accounts.
If you can still send emails from you Ntlworld account that has not happened yet but I'm sorry to say if the account is no longer linked to a live VM broadband account it is only a matter of time before you lose access to this old email account.
