Gig2 Not Symmetrical

Question

I upgraded to Gig2 the other day from Gig1 with the upload add-on. I was told that the add-on was not needed because I live in an XGS-PON area and that it would be symmetrical. Unfortunately, whilst the download speed has been bumped up, the upload is 200mbps.

I've attempted to explain this to various agents and no-one seems to have heard about the upload add-on. One person even booked an engineer to come to the property tomorrow! I don't want to waste an engineers' time when i'm 99% sure this is something that could be sorted if i could just talk to the right person.

Looks like the ring fenced XGS-PON support team are yet another figment of the imagination.

I did notice the package showing that. I found a guy on here who had the exact same issue as me, it seemed that one of the VM reps on here, helped solve it. Every agent i've spoken to has never heard of it. One person tried to send me some wifi discs!

Interesting your package shows 1000/1000?&nbsp; Also I believe the symmetrical speeds are an add on at £6 pm?&nbsp; You are not the first, btw to have this issue.&nbsp; If you search the forum, you may find a solution?&nbsp;
