Hi,
One of many others who can no longer get Websafe to work.
Has been fine, but now when on will act as if it is off (no web restrictions at all).
Reset devices, cleared cache on mobile, etc (same as others have) but no joy. Have again tried web URL as well as app.
Any ideas from Virgin? Seems to quite a lot of customers who experience this.
Thanks.

Given the abilities of current mobiles/laptops and the unreliable nature of Child Safe it is hard to know if this is a case of Apple Relay / VPN / Public DNS being in play or VM Child Safe not having engaged in the VM DNS.

Few snidy comments, odd but if nothing better to do...
Searching through the forum, I am not alone and it is 100% a virgin media issue. It's always been temperamental but now just doesn't work.
The fact it's called Websafe and literally doesn't block anything is the issue. Hoping a virgin representative can assist.
Thanks.

In the meantime, while you are waiting for VM to fix Websafe, you can manually set your device DNS.
If you user Cloudflare's DNS, they will filter Adult and Malware content. The IP addresses are 1.1.1.3 and 1.0.0.3

Web Safe requires your device use Virgin Media's DNS. To verify this is the case go to 1.1.1.1 — the Internet’s Fastest, Privacy-First DNS Resolver and confirm AS Name value is reported as Virgin Media, for example:

That's all correct. Nothing has changed my end, it's just stopped blocking porn, etc.
The other handy thing is the capability to block YouTube so kids aren't glued to it (I do set usage time on devices but TVs and virgin itself have capacity to access it). Just nice to have Websafe as another layer, as it is offered as virgin media service.
Thanks.

By default access to following VPN site should be blocked: https://protonvpn.com. Is that the case for you?

Morning - I can access that website:
