Text to change engineer visit

I’ve just received a text from [REMOVED] asking if I want an earlier installation. Without thinking I relied yes and chose 20/04/24 as the date when asked. I have now received a confirmation that the visit will be tomorrow but the details on my account show no change. 
can you confirm this is genuine or have I walked into a scam?

The appointment for an install will now show the app due to the type of code we class it as.
Which is why faults appointments will change but not install appointments.

May I ask if the team did come out and get the services install?
