Hi.
I've just found an email from <identityclaim@account.virginmedia.co.uk> in my junk folder. Is this genuine or a scam? I asks for me to link my O2 & VM logins. I haven't done that as it looks suspicious to me, especially as it was in my junk folder.

There is definitely a VMO2 project inviting users to combine log in details according to this help page:
https://www.virginmedia.com/support/help/linked-virgin-media-o2-id
So it may be a genuine email.
I'm a Very Insightful Person, I'm here to share knowledge, I don't work for Virgin Media, I'm a VM customer. There are no guarantees that my advice will work. Please read the FAQs

Thanks for that, it’s such a shame we live in times when we can’t trust emails from legitimate people / Companies.
