Can someone from VM help please, I received a text and e mail 17th Oct saying there is a problem with my broadband connection and a temporary fix applied and an update to follow, which came through on the 19th Oct. I have just received another text and e mail today saying the same problem but not to worry, is this legit and what is the problem ?? I am very paranoid as I was one of hundreds if not thousands who had their old ntlworld or blueyonder e mails hacked and threatened with malicious e mail. My e mails were accessed and god knows what information was taken, so I am very worried when I receive any message regarding broadband connection, can this be escalated by VM please and myself contacted asap

Thank you for posting this, I had the same text and email and reached out on here yesterday with the same query. Did your text come through on a number you have received other correspondence with Virgin?

No, I haven’t heard anything yet. I was reassured the text came through on a number I know to be Virgin Media but would still like reassurance.

It's always prudent to be careful with stuff like this. However I have never come across a scam message that says that everything is fine and I don't need to do anything.

Can someone from VM team reply please, I’ve had 2 e mails and a text saying my internet is having problems, just done a check and think it needs an engineer out but navigating around the VM site to set one up is ridiculous. I’m also anxious due to my e mails being hacked last year and worried someone is trying to hack in again, I put a message out yesterday and nothing from vm so finger crossed today
