Bill Final Notice

I have just had a shock, I received a mail "Your Virgin Media bill is ready" and the message preview showed my bill was for £177.19 which resulted in a very large intake of breath, my bill is normally nowhere near that much.

Anyway, panic over when I opened the mail. It had come through on my alternative mail address and was from removed and was addressed to   [MOD EDIT: Email link removed]

It also talks about collecting 77.19 in June 2020. I didn't click on the link.

It is not my Account number or Area reference either.

Hi Kain,

No, I wasn't stating I was receiving someone else's bill. I was reporting a phishing scam. If whoever deleted the image actually looked at the image and the email addresses I quoted before deleting would have been obvious that they were not genuine VM addresses.

If I was reporting that I was getting someone else's bill 1) I wouldn't report it under the forum 'Security Matters' & 2) I would post at all, I would contact accounts by phone.
