As the question on title says I’m curious which hub I will get. I assume it would be the hub 3 as the hub 5 for 1 gig customers? My package is the M350 as I want to see how reliable the connection is before upgrading in the future.
thanks

For a CATV / DOCSIS street Hub 3 / 4 /5 can be supplied.
For an XGS-PON street every one has a Hub 5x regardless of the speed chosen.
M350 is fast enough to stream 60 Netflix films at once, more speed may only deliver cost.
PS ... " engineer install " was that so hard ?

Well it’s an engineer visit so tea and cake are ready to be offered for a decent hub lol 😉😉

Mine is the CATV/DOCSIS I would think and with it being a Virgin Media over IRS system at my flat. Yes M350 should be a nice upgrade from 70mg I currently have via the old phone line lol

Its likely to be an ancient, legacy, refurbished HUb3 for that speed tier, however, if the area has over utilisation OR you simply get an engineer with empathy, you may get a HUB5, it's not unknown. Default is a (rubbish) HUB3 with its inherit Intel latency bug that couldn't be fixed properly. If its in modem mode you probably won't notice issues so much for your speed tier 😉

We have a Hub 3 in Router mode and provided you avoid the VM Connect app, it is not a bit of trouble.
