When will I be charged from for my new broadband in new property

Hello, 

I am in the process of moving house and will be moving at the beginning of February. I am trying to get ahead with getting things sorted and have chosen to go with Virgin Broadband. I have asked for the installation pack to be sent to my new address the day after we move, my question is will I be charged from today or from when I set up the modem?

    Hey Nylon, thank you for reaching out and a warm welcome to the community and also to Virgin Media.

    You will only start getting charged once the equipment has been activated, please remember bill 1 is two bills in total so month 1 and 2 as we bill a month in advance with any extra chargers such as activation fee etc. 

    I hope the moves goes well.
