What type of coaxial connector do VM use?

They drilled the cable through the window frame in my flat and it's caused untold water damage over the years. I had to cut the connector off to pull it back through the hole, so I need to know what it is to buy a kit and put another one on after it's through the brick at an angle like it should be. Can someone please tell me what I'm looking for?

The RF connector used by VM (& also Sky) is called a F-Plug or F-Type.

Here are some example :

Screw in F plugs are useless, you should get one that uses a crimping tool. You should not modify cables yourself, get VM to send a technician. The usual free would be £25, but as the original installation was causing water ingress I think this fee should be waived. Best wait for a VM staff member to get to your post in a day or two, they may be able to get the fee waivered.

There are 10 types of people: those who understand binary and those who don't and F people out of 10 who do not understand hexadecimal c1a2a285948293859940d9a49385a2

Hey manaaju,

Welcome to the community and thanks for taking the time to post here on the forums. We're sorry to hear of the issues that your original install has caused to your home. I would be happy to arrange a visit for you and look into waiving the usual £25 charge but first I would need to confirm a few details via private message, please look out for my message and we can get started.
Kind Regards,
