VM will do it, but there is a charge of £25 for each non-fault call-out.

The primary place to report faults or for service requests is Customer Services on 0345 454 1111/150 if you have a VM landline or wait two or three days for a VM staff member to get to your post.

Hi silverfox50,

Thanks for posting, as Tudor has advised it would be £25 charge per visit. Please let us know if you'd like us to arrange this and we can pop you over a private message.

getting them on the 2 days will involve minor miracles or even major ones - they simply dont work like that

why cant the sparky do it - if its just disconnecting and reconnection then its not beyond an electrician or yourself - if the cable need lengthening or shortening then thats a different thing

there is no voltage involved and nothing to switch off to be safe

As advised above, VM can schedule the visits for the days you want but there is no guarantee they will arrive on that day.

You would however get compensation if they don't turn up.

My name is NOT Alessandro. That's just a tag Virginmedia sticks on some contributors. Please ignore it.

Hey jpeg1, thank you for reaching out to help we appreciate this.

I can see my colleague did reply to them about this 🙂
