User already logged in (when not) on hub

Recently, when I want to configure my hub 3.0 for port forwarding etc, I get this when I try to log in. No one is logged in, I even made sure to log out of my last session, but it still does this:
"Please Note!
Someone else is currently logged into the settings page. Only one session at a time is allowed. Please try again later."

I've had to reboot my hub 3.0 with the pin button to fix this, only for it to come back when I try to log in the second time, unplugging the hub 3.0 from power doesn't make a difference (I had it disconnected for 10/15 minutes and it still didn't work afterwards).

When I try to use "modem mode", or turn off the dhcp server to use my own, it randomly stops working.

What randomly stops working? The VM router? Your connection? Your DHCP server?

The Hub 3.0 randomly locked up and stopped working the last couple times I put it in modem mode and had to reset it and then put it into modem node again.

This has recently started happening to me, alway been ok accessing via web browser however since using the app it states someone is already logged in to the router. This put me on the back foot to start with thinking I’d been hacked, clearly this is not the case and it’s a VM issue that am still having. How can this be rectified ?

Personally, the only thing I can do is to not register the hub in the mobile app. The easiest solution seems to be to use another router, with the hub in 'Modem Mode', but your mileage may vary as it's not always reliable.

In an ideal world, this would be patched with s software update for the hub 3.0 or upon widespread adoption of the hub 4.0.

I recently had this issue and was reading this thread for help - definitely is the app that is the problem, but even logging out of it does not help.  I discovered however that if I open a private / incognito browser window and navigate to the hub from there, the problem went away.  This was a relief as I was dreading having to do a hard reset.

Hope this helps someone with the same problems

I've just gotten it again but incognito/private doesn't work, abysmal considering I've got a server at home, time for another reset 😐

Thanks for the post Wiry.

Can we please confirm if you're still experiencing any issues with your connection?

Let us know, Emily.

After a power cycle, it is gone, but it returns randomly, which requires a power cycle again 😩😭

Can’t believe this is still an issue.

I would love to have the app access as it’s better and more intuitive than the hub log in. Surely this can be fixed otherwise what’s the point  of the app being released if it’s not compatible?
