When are VM going to send out Wi-Fi 6 routers to loyal long term customers, getting fed up of waiting.

Probably depends on what speed connection your on, would depend on what hub your supplied.
Hub 5 has WiFi 6 is issued to the 1Gig package
Hub4 WiFi 5 500 mbit
Slower you got no chance.
|If you really need WiFi 6 buy a router and set it up as an access point off a 1 gig port. You can get one for around £30 these days. You also need device that work at these speeds, also little point having WiFi at 500 mbit if your connection is slower.

You will never get speeds like this below unless you get you own wireless access point.

Hub 5 has WiFi 6 and "may or may not" issued to the 1Gig package
Not if you had a Hub 4 provided for 1Gb so WiFi 6 is not available to all 1 Gb customers - VM never kept to the commitment made years ago to rollout Hub 5s to existing customers "the Hub 4 is capable of 1Gig is their excuse" Typical VM say one thing then forget they said it.. Why should a 1Gb customer need to buy any extras to get WiFi 6....

Cost to them VM cheap out on the hubs as it is that they should all (hub 5x included) have modem mode to do it your way.
If your not happy with how VM run their business don't use them.

On 1gig using Hub4 ,would like a hub5 to get wi-fi6. Reading comments, seems an impossibility for loyal long term customers ?

Your mistake is in thinking that VM would understand what you mean by "loyal long term customers".
You are a source of income. Nothing more, nothing less.

Hey pedlar1,
Welcome back to the community and thanks for taking the time to post. Are you currently having any issues with your Hub4 at the moment?
Kind Regards,

You need to remember VM’s primary function is to supply you with a broadband connection. The local networking side of the hub is just an add on. As long is they supply you with the correct speed to your hub they have fulfilled their contract. With an FTP connection most providers just supply you with an ONT and some with a free home router, mine certainly does. As I have always used my VM connection with my own networking equipment as long as it receives the stated speed I’m happy. With more and more people using their own networking equipment why should they be forced into paying for other users high end equipment, just because those users want the latest greatest technology advances when often the current technology is adequate for their needs. If you want high end latest greatest networking equipment then buy it.
