Hi .there is a virgin media cable running outside my front garden covered with some geen plastic,it looks really ugly as i am trying to fix my garden .it cannot be buried in the ground as there is neighbours fences behind it and at the front i got plants underground.i do not intend to be virgin media customer,
I just want to know if it's ok to cut the cable my self or virgin media wants to do it .

Sorry to hear that one of our cables is causing a bit of an eye sore in your garden. We're really sorry, but we wouldn't be able to remove any external cabling. If the cable imposes a health and safety risk, we could look into potentially removing it if we are unable to rebury it into the ground, however you mentioned that this may not be possible.
