I have tried everything including the pinhole restart but I cannot get the red light off my hub 3. I have Internet and email etc but the red light is on permanently

I've recently re-joined VM after two years away and got a Hub 3 which works fine.
However, the power light is orange (should be white) in router mode and red (should be magenta) in modem mode.
Seems like the blue part of the multi colour LED has failed.
The network light and Wi-Fi light don't work at all!
If you search the forums you see many similar posts and it seems this is simply a problem with the LED or LED driver circuitry in the hub.
For me I believe this is a returned hub that has not been properly tested and refurbished but as it works fine I have no issue.
