I’ve had a security alert regarding some data leaks regarding passwords. One at risk is apparently my VM one. Some time ago, didn’t VM change something that meant if you changed your login password it also affected your email password or something like that? Thanks in advance.

Frequently scam email alerts contain a links that if used will promptly attempt to collect your passwords.
Avoid falling into the trap of giving away your credentials to a fraudster.

There have been changes to account and email security. You can update yours if you need to by reading here. Do not follow any links that may arrive in other ways.

We are so sorry that you have faced an issue with your passwords and a big thank you to our community team for their advise here. We are recommending that customers change their log in username from a Virgin email to a third party one just so you are aware, but if your username is still the Virgin one changing the password here will mean a password change to address as well.
