No lights on hub 5 with flashing power supply

Hi there,

Have a hub 5*, haven't had it long but it disconnected itself from all services in early hours of this morning. Went to check it and there was no colour around the ring on the router, the peer supply light is flashing green. When taken out the router the power supply has a solid green light.

Seems to either be a dead router or supply unless I'm missing something.

Hi @plesifaf7 👋 Thank you for your post and welcome to the Virgin Media Community 😀

We're sorry to hear about the problem you're having 😔

How have things been since you posted?

A solid green light on a Hub 5 means it's in modem mode and won’t be sharing WiFi. If you’ve put the Hub into modem mode yourself, you’ll probably be using your own router alongside the Hub.

You can take the Hub back out of modem mode manually, or you can do it by resetting the Hub – just press the pin-hole factory reset button for 10 seconds with the tip of a pen and leave it for five to 10 minutes to start up. When it’s finished, you’ll see the light turn white.

Please pop back to us at your earliest convenience.

Regards,
Daniel
