I got the wifi and TV package delivered yesterday. I spent ages looking for the wifi socket as I've just moved into the house and couldn't find it anywhere. However, I did find a coaxial cable sticking out so tried to connect the wifi hub to that instead of using the splitter with the red and black stickers on it (because I couldn't use the splitter as there is no wifi socket to plug the red- labelled part into)...
The hub came on, and so did the green wifi symbol. However, the green light at the bottom has been flashing for hours, meaning there is a loose cable somewhere (or something else) and I'm not sure what to do.

Sounds like the cable is disconnected somewhere. Call the pre-installs team on 0800 052 1734 8AM- 9PM Monday - Friday or 8AM-6PM Saturday and Sunday, and explain your problem. You will most likely need a manned install.
