Not sure if someone can help me... I have recently moved to a new built house and at first the address was not showing on their system because it has not been registered with Royal Mail. It has now been registered and is showing not only on Royal Mail but also other broadband providers as well as listed on multiple websites. Virgin seems to be the only system not displaying my address. An engineer came over and check if we had cables and were ready for install and everything is ready to go, however because the address is not on their system he could not do the installation. I have spoken and called multiple departments from Virgin Media and not one soul was able to help me! All they tell me is that they have passed along my message and I have to wait. Surely if a Virgin engineer was here and says the address is serviceable plus it's showing on everyone else's system BUT Virgin there has to be some kind if issue going on. I have had to hire a temporary wifi for our are home as I work from home and every time I ask the customer service team of they know how long it will take for the address to be added to their system, NO ONE IS EVER ABLE TO HELP. This is getting incredibly frustrating, especially because due to the type of work I do I need high speeds at home so I can't even get another provider... Otherwise I would have already changed... This service is unacceptable, how can a department made to help people with queries not be able to help? The address exists, the address is cabled and ready for set up, someone from the Virgin team was actually here and checked it!
Please help as I am running out of time with my temporary wifi and I'm not sure what to do... At this point I am even considering just signing with SKY with a lower speed...
