Need replacement power socket adaptor for coaxial cable to wall splitter

 I’ve asked virgin and they don’t understand what I mean and can’t find anything on the internet so hopefully someone here can help. 
we have this power adapter that a coaxial cable goes into and then goes into the wall splitter. The adapter always had a crack in it. It was the only one engineer had when he came and it wasn’t cracked all the way through. Over the years it’s split and I need a replacement. Any ideas please?

If it’s still working I would suggest some superglue and insulation tape as an interim fix. It’s only low voltage so no problems of an electrical shock.

The below suggests underneath the broken plastic is a barrel jack to f type coax adapter:

Thank you both. Yes it’s got an adapter inside for the coaxial It’s not working and neither is the internet or tv so assuming it’s the reason. Virgin are yet to be helpful and I can’t seem to find my own new plug/adapter online to buy.

Don't try and tell the offshored call centre what the problem is, you're going to confuse them and they won't know what to do. If your TV and internet isn't working then phone it in as a fault and go through the troubleshooting with them, they will book an engineer.

Follow the advice of Jonny-M and phone it in as a 'not working/no connection' fault. Don't go into any details, it will just side-track and confuse the telephone agents.

Based on similar past topics, I don't think you can get the individual power supply sent out anyway. I think you need a tech visit to provide a replacement of the power supply (or whole unit)

Once you have a tech booked, you could try this past answer to see if it helps to get your broadband back on while you wait for the tech

I think one of the connectors on the device should be a 'lifeline' / 'pass-thru' output connector which should continue to work work when the power is off.

See if you can get your hub to work when it is connected to that socket. The names of the sockets should be on the back of the unit. It will only work if there is a strong enough signal to the splitter unit but might get your broadband back on while you wait.

Thank you for your post. I'm sorry to see the damage on the adapter there. 

I am happy to take a look into this and see about getting an engineer out.
