My home hub red light is permanently on and starting to get hot.

Hi I'm new here so please be nice😀 My home hub red light is permanently on and it's getting hot. I've tried turning off for a while but no success. My biggest problem is that I can't contact vm during normal hours, the chat bot is worse than useless and when I do get on the whats app chat they keep telling my to try again during the day.

please help

What Hub model is it - Hub3 I presume ?

I do not work for VM. My services: HD TV on VIP (+ Sky Sports & Movies & BT sport), x3 V6 boxes (1 wired, 2 on WiFi) Hub5 in modem mode with Apple Airport Extreme Router +2 Airport Express's & TP-Link Archer C64 WAP. On Volt 350Mbps, Talk Anytime Phone, x2 Mobile SIM only iPhones.

Thanks for your first post and welcome to our community.
Sorry to hear you are having an issue with the red light on your hub
I'd like to investigate this for you as we will need to send an engineer out and swap this over for you.

Would you be able to make sure the Hub is away from any direct sources of heat and well ventilated.
If you don't mind, I will need to send you a private message to pass security. 
If you can check your logo at the top right of your screen that would be great.

finally problem solved, managed to speak to a very helpful Frenchman and a new hub should be sent to me in the next few days😁
