Move VM hub to Garage

Hi

I would like to move my Hub from the lounge to the garage.  its about 30ft away from the outside VM connection box - i believe VM engineers can do this for a flat fee.

Anyone on here from virgin can clarify this and if someone can contact me to get this rolling?

If you are not intending to watch TV and only need internet, it would be easier to run an ethernet cable to the garage?

Sorry i probably wasnt clear. i want the entry point for virgin to be the garage as that is where the rack is going hence the hub going there. i will then run ethernet into the house.

Ahh, I see.  The only issue is perhaps how are they going to get the "underground" cable from where is it now, to the garage?  That sounds like a lot of digging, or even a cable repull if the existing cable is too short to move?  The £25 fee may not cover such work, but lets see and hope for the best 🙂
