Hi everyone,

When I arranged my move I was notified that I was eligible for a self install and was just wanting to verify that these would work with the kit that I'm being sent?

The wall box with the flat & sloping cover, does that contain the VM connection,
look on the bottom face of it. or even inside it.

If not call the Pre-installation and delivery team on 0800 052 1734.
Explain what needs to be done and book an engineer visit.

Looking at the other items . . .

The vertical wire with paint on it is a Freeview TV aerial,
there is VM Telephone socket with a twin outlet adaptor,
the double coax cable is what we have for Sky Q TV.

Hi,

This is what the underside looks like

It's the box underneath we are interested in.

I thought I'd gotten that in with the previous pic, here we are

That will work but you might have to take the two screws off so you can push the new wire in firmly then screw back on

The telephone socket is likely to be redundant now as VM landlines use the Virgin Media Hub telephone sockets for phones instead. If you have a technician visit, you could ask to remove you if you don't feel comfortable removing yourself. The telephone incoming wire to the VM branded telephone box probably comes in via the sloping wall box below where the F connector is for the broadband hub.

It is in very shabby in fact broken condition, I'd be quite concerned that will turn out to be non functioning.
