In my road but stopped before my house?

I live at the end of a cul-de-sac and my house and my neighbours were built after the other properties around 40 years ago. This week contractors have laid fibre in my street but they literally stopped before mine and my neighbours house. I asked why and they said our two houses are not on their plan!!! We are the only two properties omitted.

Can anyone help or give me any advice as we are desperate for decent broadband!
