What isnt working... wifi?ethernet? both?

What is the Hub light(s) showing doing?

How long has it been switched on?  It usually connects straight away - but may be with a delay as the Hub updates all its firmware first.

I've had the hub5 since last autumn. My hub started playing up last Thursday, I was unable to utilise my route until the engineer came this past Tuesday. The issue was that I could only access the internet via the ethernet cable, however it kept dropping and picking up connection on my TV which is LAN Mode. In the end the engineer replaced our hub5 with a new one... on Wednesday it was working fine until I changed the password then it started doing the same thing as the last one until Thursday morning. As the hub was previously on the floor I decided to build a hang it on a shelf which required unplugging the device, now we are back to square one,  the white light is pulsating, The SSID isn't visible to any device and I can not use the ethernet.

can someone help me figure out to stop the pulsating? I've tried everything regarding turning it off, unplugging and resetting.

Virgin upgrade seems to be a downgrade....🙄

@IoTG190 please raise a separate post. It gets very confusing when you coat-tail onto another post.
