Ive currently got my hub setup in my living room and i want to move my it into another room near the ceiling. The technician left 1 and a half meters of coaxial cable and i need around 7-10 meters. Is there any way i can extend this? Is there also a longer power cable plug for the hub 5 as thats quite short too.

There is not a longer power cable for the Hub5, would possibly introduce a power drop, you just need a mains extension. As to the coax VM will do the work for £25, see below:
The primary place to report faults or for service requests is Customer Services on 0345 454 1111/150 if you have a VM landline or wait two or three days for a VM staff member to get to your post.

If you want to extend your coax then you need to book a non-fault technician visit. Not only do VM use specialised cable, but altering your wiring by that amount will affect your signal levels & hence your service performance. A VM tech will make up the correct wiring & then open the street cabinet & adjust the levels as required for optimum performance. There are no longer power leads, so you will have to use a mains extension cable.
Non-fault callouts cost a standard £25.

Hey Akame,
Welcome to the community and thanks for taking the time to post here on the forums. As advised we can book a technician to carry out the work at the cost of £25, if you would like to go ahead with this, please let us know and we can get that booked in from here, if you haven't spoken to the team over the phone already to book it in.
Kind Regards,
