We signed up in December for broadband as we'll be moving this week. On sign up I chose the engineer visit, but must have done something wrong because it went through for Quick start instead. The house was empty for a few years and the wires don't look great so I was planning on booking an engineer, however the quick start didn't arrive, A pair of socks was delivered instead... thanks yodel 🫠 called up and the agent booked an engineer, however it's not showing on the app and I've received no confirmation email or text. I have to arrange someone to be at the property however it's a bit much to expect them to wait 5 hrs without knowing for certain.
I have tried calling, but I'm in college at the minute and can't hold for too long 🙈 do they send confirmation or is it just as straightforward as trusting it will go ahead?

Thank you for replying. I have tried to get through a few times today, but I'm at college and couldn't hold for long, I can use my phone to text, but my lecturer wouldn't be too happy with a phonecall in the middle of his class. Did manage to get through at lunch and the call was dropped 3 times before they even accessed my account. I have someone at the property now and there's no show yet, but they have until 6pm anyway, I'll keep trying them when i finish college and on my way home. I just wondered if there's always a confirmation sent out prior to the appointment and if it should have been showing on the orders/appointment screen... because it only occurred to me to check this morning so it's on me 🙈.
