Just come to the end of my new customer 18 month discount and have obviously started paying double for my package. I have no other fiber providers to my address so don't have the option of switching to anyone else. Is it worth trying to negotiate with Virgin to get a cheaper price again or should I just cancel the current contract and get my partner to sign up to make use of the new customer discounts?

You will lose all VM email addresses and TV recordings and will need to return all existing kit and there might be a delay/service interruption. Otherwise yes switch to your partner and keep switching back and forth until a better provider arrives.

Yes you can do it, but be prepared for problems/delays because VM don't like you to save money this way.
