I'm moving into a new apartment in August. I currently have VM connection and want to transfer it to my new place. But, the website shows that VM connection is not available at that location although all other flats in the same building including all my neighbouring flats (the flat right next to mine and the one below my floor) have VM connection.
I have tried reaching out to the sales team who said it's not possible without even sending any engineer to look into the installation. I was wondering if anyone could help me with this.

In a block of flats there is usually a central distribution point to feed each flat. This will need to be checked out. It's the sales team who can send a technician to do this.

I requested the sales team to send a spotter but they are unresponsive so far. I may have to settle with other broadband providers who are offering reduced speed.
I'm so surprised to see that VM is not bothered about turning down business without even looking into the installation feasibility. I am pretty sure it would have taken just an hour to install the VM box in my apartment as there is already VM connection in the building. Very disappointed!!

Hi Garth, I am also having a similar issue. I have filled out the form twice and I have not heard anything back from Virgin media about them sending an engineer out.

What form have you filled out twice, is it the registering to be notified, when services become available in your area. If so, the team would only be in touch, when the services are available to your address.
