Can anyone actually tell me when external work will be done!

Hi, my installation have been delayed again. Sadly I see this is not uncommon, they are still waiting for external work to be done, which they say is happening every time i call the so called installation team, they tell me the same every day, "its scheduled for today" another day goes by...nothing happens. I call again, the same repsonse " its scheduled for today". My house is relatively new only 6 years old. Ducting was installed from my house to the footpath in preparation for virgin media services when the house was built. The duct has been rodded with the cobra and gets just about all the way to the pit in the footpath. They say the duct is blocked. The duct has probably terminated before entering the pit but it seems nobody wants to actually rectify what should be a straight forward job. My neighbour next door had the same problem and this was resolved straight away. its a shame they cant do this same for me. Can any forum staff help me and let me know how I might be able to get in contact with somebdoy that actually knows when the external works will be done, rather than just being lied to on a daily basis please.

They dont know - because they dont know.  All the external work is outsourced to a number of 3d party contractors that VM have no control over an little or zero contact with.  All you can do is what you are doing and register for compensation for delayed installs - this is quite lucrative actually !  See....
