We have just had a new Hub 3 which I have got up and running and put into modem mode as we have our own router. Normally I would go to 192.168.100.1 for access to the hub 3 but this doesn't work.
How would I get into the hub 3 if I wanted to change it back to router mode?

Maybe VM have broken the modem mode 192.168.100.1 or your new router don't like seeing a dead MAC
Get the WAN MAC from your router (not hub) put that on your PC NIC and connect in place of the router to hub then try 192.168.100.1

To access the Hub 3 at 192.168.100.1 your computer would need to be on the same subnet.

What colour is the LED on the Hub3?

Managed to get this working with 192.168.100.1, and the LED is red.

Sometimes this occurs to me as well. It might connect via the phone, or via the laptop, or at times just will not connect. I don't fret over it, as if I leave it a while it will connect. I've no idea why this happens, and life is too short to worry about it .... 🙂

"Managed to get this working with 192.168.100.1, and the LED is red." that’s ok, it is actually magenta, but can look red to some people,
