my Your Hub 3.0 status shows wireless as (off). how do i turn it on? I've reset the device. I don't know how it happened. it switched off during my conversation with virgin media about cancelling...

Assuming the Hub 3 status overview shows: Internet (Online)
try to re-enable both Wi-Fi bands from the Hub 3 menu at :
Advanced settings >>> Wireless >>> Wireless signal
Select : Enable 2.4GHz
Select : Enable 5 GHz
Click on : Apply changes
