we want to install a dropped kerb, do we need to move the VIRGIN CATV box?

We want a dropped kerb installing outside the house.

We have a CATV box on the pavement - Does this need to be moved, as vehicles may pass over it?

Do you mean a big green box or just an underground one? If it’s the latter then the local council usually advises if it needs a strengthening of its lid.

As Tudor says.... and if its the big green street cabinet then I would say the chance of getting that moved is close to zero.

Unless you want to pay for VM to move it - in which case it will cost you tens of thousands of pounds.

To be sure, post up some photos of it - and the location.
