I have a Samsung A12. It was originally on a Vodafone contract but the network coverage in this area deteriorated, beleive it is due to the 3G mast switch off. I tried Wifi calling, but that was ppor quality also. I then changed to an O2 sim which was much cheaper, agian, not very good network coverage, and Wifi calling no better. It doesn't look like any of the providers are going to improve the netwoork coverage soon, so what can I do to improve the Wifi calling.
When out and about mobile works fine, it's just at home where it is very poor.

I have a Samsung A12, at home Wi-Fi calling over VM Wi-Fi is excellent.

There must be something wrong here then, even sitting close to the router it breaks up badly.

Install the "Samknows Realspeed" app on your A12 and check the speed to the VM Hub and the A12 are reasonable.
You may find the A12 will post faster Wi-Fi speed test results with it's Bluetooth turned OFF.

Thanks for the help. The router is showing a speed of 137 M, with bluetooth on the device is 21.8 M and with bluetooth off 52 M, will try a few calls this afternoon with bluetooth off.

I have made a few calls and the reception is fine with bluetooth off, the question now is is it the reduction in speed or is it interference causing the problem. Am going to have to remember to swirch bluetooth on each time I go out in the car.

The reduction is speed is not the issue, the GSM codec operates at 13Kb/s. A very low data rate.
My A12 is loud and clear on Wi-Fi calls with Bluetooth enabled.
I usually test against the Voice mail service as this excludes all mobile reception / telephone network issues.

Tried switching bluetooth back on and calls are very poor again but at least I can make calls by switching bluetooth off without having to go in the garden for a better mobile signal. Also remembered sometimes I get pop up messages on the phone about not being 5Ghz enabled or something similar.

I silenced Android Auto's notifications about the lack of 5Ghz support.
My Mercedes E350 does not support Android Auto so not a problem.
The A12's Bluetooth works fine in my car for phone calls and texts.

It works fine in the car here too.
