WiFi to garden office

Hi everyone

We're getting a garden office fitted and I'm having a nightmare trying to figure out what the best option is for getting it WiFi'd up.

We've got a VM hub 5, I believe.

Our options are either ethernet cable, which seems incredibly disruptive in terms of going under the floorboards etc..

Or powerline adaptor, which sounds like a good and neat idea, if not quite as reliable.

WiFi extender, which seems like a no-no because these things are rarely reliable.

One electrician just mentioned a gigabit splitter, which I'd never heard of before.

Does anyone have any experience of any of these? If so, which would you recommend/advise?

Thanks v much for any responses in advance!

All the best, H

"a gigabit splitter" sounds like a layman's term for a Gigibit switch.
There is a 4 port Gigabit switch built into the back of each VM Hub.

You could buy / try a Powerline adaptor and return if it does not work out
here is an example of one with a network port + Wi-Fi ...

An Ethernet cable and a wireless access point in the outside office is always the best and most reliable connection.
