Wired connection to garden office

I have a new garden office with wired Ethernet connection. Can anyone advise how to get it linked up with my Virgin router/broadband? I bought a TP link wi-fi 6 range extender but it just won’t seem to connect. Virgin booster pods don’t send signal far enough, so that’s not an option.  Tried to find advice via Virgin’s ‘virtual assistant’ (no info), WhatsApp messaging (no answer) and phone (haha). I’m not the most tech savvy, so have no idea how to resolve this - can anyone help??

  • Thanks everyone, it turns out I just hadn't put the TP Link into 'access mode'.  I now have, and it all works brilliantly!

Just connect the cable to your Hub, assuming that’s where the cable comes from?   After that, just plug a wifi access point on the garden room end of the cable.

  • Just to add I'd try connecting a wired device, like a laptop, so you can test the ethernet cable between the HUB and graden office is working ok.
