Can anyone advise me if/how i can run a report which shows when my wifi drops out please? It seems to be doing it quite frequently and i seem to remember reading about a report you could run to show each drop out.
VM just advise to perform speed tests when I ask how we can improve the wifi and when i do they speed is fine, when its working! If i try and run a speed test when it's out, to try and record/prove its out, i just get an error msg.
I've relocated the box away from the TV and moved it to on top of a bookcase, in case that was the issue but cannot move it any further away/higher up on the provided cable.
TIA

VM Hubs don't have such a monitoring feature.
It might help to focus on possible causes.
1) a local service fault in your street - call 0800 561 0061 it is an automated number
2) VM Hub a signal level fault - check the Upstream / Downstream tabs of the Hub
3) VM Hub Smart Wi-Fi / Wireless Channel Optimisation - best Disabled.
4) VM Hub Wi-Fi Channel changes - select fixed channels on both 2.4 & 5 GHz bands.
5) Windows laptops with power saving power plans that pause the Wi-Fi adaptor to save battery

You can follow drop offs on the network itself on a BQM - worth doing this although wifi interference wont be seen - just true network losses of connectivity
If you haven’t already, set up a free, secure and “offlsite” - “Broadband Quality Monitor” to continually monitor the state of your connection and record any true network dropouts , latency issues, packet drops, etc - it will thus allow you to differentiate between those and simple wifi dropouts. It does it 24/7/365 and it keeps a visual record of any/all of your network disconnections, useful data to have to match to the Network logs (in your Hub settings) and also in discussions with VM - note it will take a few hours to start seeing a sensible picture - post up the “link” to the “share live graph”. Click the lower link (Share Live Graph) then, click generate. Copy the text in the Direct Link box, beware, there may be more text than you can see. On here click the Link icon (2 links chain to the left of the camera icon) In the URL box paste the link you copied and then click OK

Thanks for reaching out to us @teamriley28, and a very warm welcome to you!
Sorry to hear of the issues you've been experiencing over our Wi-Fi services.
Can you please provide us with an update on how the service has been performing, with the advice previously given also taken into account?
Thanks
