Hey guys I have the strangest problem and I haven't got a clue what could be causing it.
My WiFi connection works great and I easily get 140-220 mb/s download and 25-30 mb/s upload but my phone can't hold a WhatsApp video call at all. All other apps work fine and when I phone someone it's fine but if I try to video call it won't connect or it will say poor connection and completely disconnect after a few seconds.
This happens on any phone connecting to our WiFi, android or iPhone, and the internet works absolutely fine during these disconnections. What could possibly cause WhatsApp video calls not to connect or and disconnect after a few seconds even though the internet is completely fine.

I should also add that I've tried to video call multiple people and it's the same. I won't be able to connect at all and the moment I switch to data it will work.
I've also tried going into my virgin account settings and turning child safe off as some other threads have suggested but it hasn't changed anything.

Make sure you have VPNs and Apple Relay disabled, these can add latency to the internet connection.
Try with your device configured to use a Public DNS so as to bypass Child Safe & Virus Safe.
An on going (for over12 months) issue with Child Safe is the controls for it do not work, it looks off but is still active & blocking your access.

Hello, I think I successfully switched my DNS to 8.8.8.8 but it hasn't seemed to help. I thought it worked but it still won't accept WhatsApp calls or video calls it's so strange as I've never had this issue with any other service provider. I'm new to virgin and I don't know how to change it, is this fixable?
