What gaming router do you recommend 1gig

Hi all.

So I have the 1gig service running hub5.

I am thinking of getting a good router to use and make the most of the service.

I am after one that has a min 2.5/5gig wan port and four 2.5gig lan ports or better.

Gaming focused preferably. After reducing the buffer bloat and being able to run a few high powered devices at once.

Thanks in advance

We have a minimal buffer bloat issue : https://www.waveform.com/tools/bufferbloat

Make sure you fully understand the compatibility issues of the Hub 5 2.5Gb/s port before proceeding to buy a router.

How good is your Hub 5 connection in modem mode? You won't improve on that however much you spend on networking.

Oh my that is ugly as sin and it will not going to make any difference to the alleged buffer bloat.

A network cable to the console or PC might be a much better investment.
