Virgin media not available on my street

Hi

vigin media cables were laid down 18 month ago in my village. The Main Street next to me has Virgin broadband availability but on my  cup de sac we don’t have availability. My house is 10 meters from availability. Is it possible for someone to look into this as we would like to have Virgin media.

If the village is a new development and they avoided your cul de sac there would have been a definite reason for missing it out. Is it a private road? VM doesn't like them.

My name is NOT Alessandro. That's just a tag Virginmedia sticks on some contributors. Please ignore it.

No it’s not a new village. It’s seems crazy that a house around 10metres away is eligible but mine isn’t. Surely there should be someone I could speak to see what’s happening before I get stuck in another contract.

I meant the new Virginmedia development in your village. They will have planned it out before installation, and you will have been left out for definite reasons.

It is very common for them to bypass a cul de sac, for one of several reasons, but you are not likely to find out why.  VM are quite impervious to outside enquiries, they just can't be bothered.

You may not realise it just now but if you ever do get the chance to soon up for virgin media, you will long for the days when you weren't a vm customer. Bad product, bad service, terrible support.

Hello @Doobie1986

Thanks for posting and welcome to the community.

I'll send you a PM, get some details and see if there are any plans to install.

Best wishes.
