My VM Hub 2ac regularly crashes, usually when under load eg. downloading large files. It is in modem mode with wired connection a router which has wired connections to 2 PCs. The whole internet connection is down, not just wifi. I can see the router on the network and it says it has no internet connection. Wiring directly to the hub doesn't fix it. The only thing that fixes it is restarting the VM Hub. The VM online chatbot sticks to a script and is not helping in this scenario. What can I do?

These old SH2’s need replacing with at least a Hub 3. It’s likely the actual circuit is the problem, but nevertheless it should be changed FOC.
If you wait here a day or two a VM Mod should pick this up and discuss with you directly.

In order to look into replacing the Hub for you, we'll send you a private message on here. Look out for the envelope in the top right-hand corner.
If you're on a portable device with a smaller screen, click on the icon in the top right-hand corner and select "messages" from the additional menu options.
