I've recently bought a Tapo L535E smart WiFi bulb which isn't connecting to our Hub4.
I've tried disabling the 5GHz mode and even trying a temporary unrestricted guest WiFi with no luck.
Rebooting the hub and the bulb hasn't given any success either.
I've noticed a few similar posts but short of a new hub I've not seen any resolutions.
Thanks

WoW I must not be trying enough you need to get your own router with 1Gb ports and put hub in modem mode.

Unfortunately I don't find the option of buying an additional router to be a resolution of the problem.
I'd just replace the bulb or buy a hub for it as it'd be cheaper - I'm hoping to find a resolution for any settings missed or if a replacement hub 5 is the only way for the actual provided hubs to function.

VM don't care about your smart stuff and a hub 5 will not help.

Hub 5 may well be far worse, there are many reports of IoT not working.
It is hard to know what to suggest to folks that don't include ( i.e link to ) the install process they are following and don't include any screen shots / error messages when things go wrong. For all we know the bulb is still in the box !

Buy a cheap access point that is more likely to support these 'smart' devices:

if they say "I don't find the option of buying an additional router to be a resolution of the problem" then they shouldn't buy that
