Slow Speeds on Ethernet but Normal Speeds on Wifi

SHELDOR000

Hey I Recently Upgraded to GIg 1 Internet but I've been having a strange problem to where my speed on ethernet is slower that my speed on Wi-Fi I'm using the cable that came with the box and I've been up to 500-600Mbps but nowhere near the speeds I've been getting I've tried a bunch of stuff I've seen on the forms I've went into safe mode with networking nothing still getting the same speeds tried resetting my router and a couple of other things but no of it seems to be working currently I'm getting 1144Mbps to router and 110Mbps to device and same in safe mode with networking which is really bad its not been this bad before all help would be much appreciated

Is the computer directly network cabled to the VM Hub
( i.e.no Powerline units, VM Pods or Wi-Fi Mesh nodes are involved ) ?

Is the Computer to VM Hub network connection stable at 1Gb/s  or dropping back to 100Mb/s ?

Does an alternative internet speed test confirm the 110Mb/s result as being correct.
E.g. https://cloudtalk.speedtestcustom.com/
( Crop off your Public IP if sharing a screen shot from this speed test )

Yes the computer is connected directly into the VM hub

If you mean by the router side then its stable always showing 1Gbps but if your talking about the device side then its at the consistent at 100Mbps

that's what that website says its showing that it around about the 100-150Mbps mark but if I use something like speedtest.net I'm getting around 450 to max 500Mbps which is better but not close to what I'm paying for

Faulty HUB (You can't be 'stuck' at 100Mbps ethernet connection speed as that limits you to around 90Mbps).

We see very similar speeds reported from : https://cloudtalk.speedtestcustom.com and  https://www.speedtest.net

So I am confused by "[from] speedtest.net I'm getting around 450 to max 500Mbps" which is what one might expect and may be at the limit of device as opposed to the VM Hub or service.

These speed tests are they being conducted when using a VPN or a Web Proxy or via Apple Relay or via an Advert Blocking service or Content blocking software ?

Must be the users device
