Hi,
I've unintentionally merged my two wifi networks and now I can only control my heaters manually.
The CONNECT app asked me to merge the networks because there was some negative impact on performance but I really need the two because the heaters will only connect to the slower Hz network.
I have no recollection of how I did this originally and can't find a guide in Virgin Media. Anyone able to point me in the right direct?
Thanks in advance

1) Critical !!! Uninstall the VM Connect app from all devices in the house.
2) Login to the VM Hub at http://192.168.0.1/ using the Hub password ( not the Wi-Fi password )
3) In the Wireless settings of the VM Hub, DISABLE Smart Wi-Fi aka Wireless Channel Optimization.
4) Now the VM Hub will allow you to split the SSIDs, Change the SSID of the 5GHz band as needed.
5) Do not re-install the Connect app or in no time it will re-merge the SSIDs.
6) Note VM Pods do not support split SSIDs.

Worked perfectly, Alessandro. And VMC deleted. What a waste of time it was.
Thanks for your help

No one really needs the Connect app. You can manage everything via the Hubs admin console. I suspect the app is necessary for those who can’t be without an app?

I set up my new HUB 3 to use the same SSIDs as my old router but due to VM's password policy had to change those, so it was bit of a pain reconnecting devices.
Tried the Connect app for a few minutes, then found it had turned optimisation back on, activated the guest network and was requesting to merge SSIDs.
Needless to say it was uninstalled straight away.
