Help, the fibre cable has been broken off the back of the router. Can I fix this?? Or do I need to order a new one??

Request a replacement Hub.  Customer Support are on 150 or 0345 454 1111 from a non-VM phone.

Might be possible to solder back in but I’d just buy a new one.

You never know VM might just send you one.

That's coax, not fibre, and no, not user serviceable.

Oh and you shouldn't buy a HUB on eBay as VM wouldn't register it with your account, so another paperweight!

Sorry, no idea what’s it’s called. Yes will phone virgin tomorrow. Much rather get a box through them.

Buying a VM Hub is not the way forward.

VM will only activate a Hub that they have supplied to you and registered to your account.

Yep, it will either be free or at most £25 for a call out charge.

Question is: how did this happen? You won't want a repeat.

Maybe trying to unscrew the F connector. Some engineers wrench them up so tight. I had to remove the cable to return a hub once, that was a job, the plastic spanner they gave with the new hub simply broke....
